For Laura’s project, “A Trip Through My Eyes”
-“Part xvi”- “I love a parade”
What evokes more SoCal then The Rose bowl parade held every year, on New Year’s day in Pasadena, CA and Palm trees. Nada mucho I tell ya! Pasadena is about 10 miles due East of my humble abode and every year around this time it becomes a wonderful sight of crowds, tourists and flowers. All the floats in the parade are based in flora and are each unique in design and execution. Historically, the weather is what they call a “Chamber of Commerce” day. Sunny blue skies in the dead of winter (well, winter in L.A. anyway). If you are ever in Los Angeles for New Year’s it’s something well worth the effort.

It´d be kinda odd spending Christmas with mild weather,but I sure would love to watch that parade and have some fun!
